Social media competitions are well known for their ability to grow B2C businesses, and other social media account types. However, this same strategy can also be useful for B2B companies. There are two main ways you can approach this for your business:

  1. You can offer the prize winner your products or services for free — like a free 1-year subscription to your services.
  2. Or you can offer valuable content relating to your business, like detailed industry reports, webinars, how-to eBooks, and more. 

When running your competition or giveaway campaign, you should be sure to tell your audience to follow your social media accounts and share with people in their network who may also want to participate in the campaign. This will help to boost your overall exposure significantly. Better still, it will give you a clear insight into the followers that are interested in your business — which will help you create targeted campaigns.

#2 Targeted campaigns

Social media advertising is no secret. However, it’s very rarely used correctly. Companies who invest a lot in the art of social media advertising always generate great results for their business. But to have success with paid advertising, you have to target your audience using the right demographic profiles correctly.
