You Can’t Keep Up With AI Alone

Keeping up with AI as an entrepreneur is one of the hardest things to do solo right now. Not because the tools are too complicated, but because the pace is relentless and trying to figure it out in isolation almost never works.

How are you actually keeping up with AI right now?

Not following it on LinkedIn, not skimming newsletters, but actually keeping up with it in a way that changes how you run your business.

For most entrepreneurs, the honest answer is: they’re not. I get it. There’s a new model, a new tool, a new use case every single week. It’s overwhelming if you’re trying to figure it out by yourself.

Here’s what I’ve learned after spending the last couple of years deep in this space. The people who are actually winning with AI aren’t necessarily the smartest people in the room. They’re the ones plugged into the right conversations.

The Problem With Going It Alone as an Entrepreneur

When you try to learn AI on your own, a few things tend to happen.

Most of that time goes toward things that don’t move the needle. The rabbit holes feel productive but rarely connect to your actual business. Eventually you hit a wall, get frustrated and go back to doing things the way you’ve always done them.

I understand that completely. Been there myself more than once.

The thing that changed everything for me wasn’t finding the perfect tool or the perfect course. It was getting around other entrepreneurs who were in the trenches with AI, testing things in their businesses and talking openly about what was actually working.

That’s where the real education happens.

Why Community Changes Everything for AI Adoption

Think about it this way. AI moves so fast that by the time something shows up in a formal article or lands in a course, it’s already old news. The real-time intelligence lives in conversations.

When you join a community of people who are actively using AI in their businesses, something shifts. You gain access to things you can’t Google. Someone shares what they tried last Tuesday that saved them six hours. Specific questions get real answers from people who’ve actually been there, not a generic response from an algorithm.

That’s not something a YouTube video can give you.

Something also happens to your mindset when you’re around other people who are actively experimenting and building. The overwhelm starts to shrink. Moving forward starts to feel possible again, and you stop feeling like you’re perpetually behind.

Practical AI Application Is the Whole Point

Here’s something I say a lot, and I mean it every time. Nobody cares about AI. They care about what AI can do for their business.

The people I work with aren’t looking to become AI experts. More qualified leads on the calendar is what they’re after. Content that sounds like them without eating up their whole week is a close second. More than anything, they want systems that follow up with prospects while they’re out living their lives.

That’s the difference between learning about AI and actually applying it. Community accelerates that application by an enormous amount because you’re not piecing things together in isolation anymore. You’re learning from people who have already made the mistakes, figured out the shortcuts and can point you in the right direction a lot faster than any algorithm can.

I’ve watched entrepreneurs go from completely overwhelmed to having functioning AI systems in their business in a matter of weeks, not because they’re exceptionally tech-savvy, but because they stopped trying to figure it out alone.

What I’m Building to Help Entrepreneurs Keep Up With AI

This is exactly why I’ve been building out what we’re calling Intentional AI. The whole idea is to create a space where entrepreneurs can actually talk about this stuff in real time, share what’s working and get practical guidance on applying AI in their businesses without the hype and without the overwhelm.

No theory. No trend pieces. Just real conversations about real implementation.

We’re talking about things like AI-hosted podcasts, custom AI agents, lead generation systems that actually run on autopilot and content workflows that don’t require you to be chained to your laptop. The kind of stuff that makes a real difference for a high-ticket service provider who’s already busy and doesn’t have time to waste.

If that sounds like something you’ve been looking for, I’d love to have a conversation with you about it.

The Bottom Line

AI isn’t slowing down. Six months from now, keeping up with it solo won’t get any easier either. The gap between entrepreneurs who are plugged into the right conversations and those who are trying to figure it out in isolation is only going to get wider.

The good news is you don’t have to go it alone. You just have to find the right people to go with.
